Overview
Chourongee is a non-profit socio-cultural association of Bengalis and Bengali-loving people of Utah. Founded in 2008, Chourongee is dedicated to promote Bengali culture in Salt Lake Valley and nearby areas. We welcome everybody interested in Bengali culture regardless of community, ethnicity and religion.
Chourongee is a fledgling organization; Our mission is to build this organization up and ultimately hand it over to the community. Here is how we envision it to work. The inception of any organization has to start with a few individuals and we have been successful in doing that. We have elected a new committee (and sub-committee) to guide and direct Chourongee into the future. We urge you all to become members of Chourongee in the near future. This is the goal we are working towards, and we hope we will have your complete moral, cultural and financial support to fulfill our goals.
